For Scouts aged 12½ to 17 years (at the start of the Jamboree), both boys and girls. IST members over 18 years.
Meet 6,000 Scouts from Mongolia, countries of the Asia Pacific Region, and from across the world.
Learn about the fascinating and unique Mongolian culture, history and nomadic lifestyle.
Activities include craft, hiking, orienteering, traditional games, songs and dances, riding horses and camels, archery, and putting up a ger (traditional tent).

E1 E1 Blue Mountains Bush Walk
Dear Parents
This is a part of the ‘Joey Adventure Challenge Badge’. Joey, parent’s & siblings are invited to attend. Joeys to wear appropriate bush walking clothing with Joey scarf. I suggest layers that can be taken off or added as needed. (Remember it can be very cold in the mountains, you can also get very warm while walking. ) Bring a back pack, drink bottle, lunch, morning & afternoon tea snacks, $ 2.50 for train, rain coat, hat, suncreen. Joeys to wear sturdy walking shoes. The track can be muddy so don’t wear your best shoes.
We will be catching the train to Wentworth Falls station & completing ‘The Charles Darwin Walk’. Returning to Wentworth Falls station & catching the train back to Westmead station. Train is due to arrive back at Westmead station at 17:00.

The Charles Darwin Walk
The location is past the Parramatta Correctional Facility, at the corner of O’Connell St. and Board St. North Parramatta, where there is a side road leading through a locked gate to the SES buildings.
Please arrive promptly, in full Scout uniform, for the formation of the rotational groups.
Bring a water bottle and a jacket.
Scouts are to be instructed in tying a Bowline and a Barrel knot prior to the night.
