Join Us

We welcome everyone who wants to join our group.  You can make contact through our Group Leader’s email or, alternatively contact the Regional Office on 02-9639-2488.

Membership

Anyone aged 5-25 can join Scouting as a youth member, those aged 18 or older can join as a Leader.  As with any organisation there are forms to fill out and fees to be paid.  We cater for Joey 5 to 7, Cubs 8 to 10, Scouts 11 to 14, and Venturers 15 to 17 in our youth section at 1st Winston Hills Scout Group.

Youth Member

To join as a youth member you will need the following forms filled out no later than on the second visit:

• 1st Winston Hills Group Information Pack
• Y1 – Application for Youth Membership
• Compulsory Y1 Attachment – Parent Guide
• M5 – Prohibited Employment Declaration

Adult Member

To join as a Leader you will need to contact our Group Leader as they have all the information to answer your queries.

An important item to note is that you will need to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.  Information on obtain the correct type of WWCC can be obtained from the Scouts NSW website.
