Goup Family Triva Night and ARP @ Bundilla

Help us Finish another Scouting year on a High with our Annual Report Presentation Night followed by a Family Fun Trivia Night at Bundilla.

The ARP will be between 6pm and 6:30pm and the Trivia Questions will start from 7pm.

Great prizes include:  a Gloria Jeans Coffee hamper; an Alegra 1st aid kit ($100);

various Coles food hampers; dinner for 2 at the Coffee Club Rouse Hill ($50);

various food and drink vouchers for the Coffee Club; a Nepean Belle cruise for 4 people;

4 family passes at AMF bowling; 2 family passes at Laser Skirmish; 2 adult passes for

Featherdale Wildlife Park ($56); a Muffin Break voucher ($10); 5 x $20 vouchers from Bunnings;

a Family pass for the National Maritime Museum ($70) and a Little Rock Café voucher ($20).

Time:      6pm – questions from 7pm to 8.30pm

Location: Bundilla Scout Camp, end of Reillys Rd Winston Hills

Cost:       $20 per table of 10 (all children welcome – bring a plate/nibbles/ drinks).

Bring gold coins for fun activities and guessing competition.

THE PACK WILL MEET AT THE CAMP GROUNDS GATE  (NEAR THE GREEN SHED AND CAR PARK ) AT 9.45 FOR A 10:00 AM START TO THE DAY. IT WILL BE BUSY ON THE DAY SO PLS WALK THE CUBS INTO BUNDILLA AND LOCATE THE PACK AT THE START AND FINISH OF THE FUN DAY…

 

AS THIS IS A REGION EVENT SO ALL CUBS MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE THE DAY…WE CAN’T ACCEPT LATE A1 FORMS OR PAYMENT…WE HAVE TO GET NUMBERS AND PAPERWORK TO REGION BEFORE THE 20/5/14.

 

CUBS MUST BRING ALL FOOD AND SNACKS , PLUS A HAT AND FULL DRINK BOTTLE FOR THE DAY , IF RAINING BRING A JACKET AS THE DAY WILL STILL BE ON ….

Observatory Parking Permit

Visit to UWS Penrith Observatory. Cubs will be given a special Cub specific Program, including a 3D Astronomy movie, a tour of the dome area and stargazing or hands-on science activities. Program will run regardless of weather, there is still lots to see and do even if it is cloudy. Cubs attending will be eligible for Level 1 Space Badge.

The cost of this activity is a minimum of $300, therefore Mums & Dads & siblings are most welcome to also attend, cost will also be $10 each. A much better choice than sitting waiting in a cold car. Free tea & coffee is provided for Mums & Dads.

Parking is FREE but you MUST display the attached parking permit on the dashboard and only park in P1 carpark (in yellow bays) only. You will not be able to park in any other parking area free of charge.

Dress code. Full Uniform for Travel to and From Venue

Please read information sheets provided with further details and requirements for registration and also packing list.

Early bird discount will apply for those that are registered and paperwork to Grizzly no later than May 8th,2014 .
Anyone who has not registered by then will not receive $5.00 discount and must pay camp fee $45.00 in full.
Food has been estimated at $50.00 per child.

Parents assistance needed with provision of trailers, firewood and towing to and from Bents Basin. Please let us know if you can assist in this area as soon as possible.

Please provide details of any food intolerances asap as we will be planning menu in next two weeks and try to incorporate menu’s that cover all scouts.

Medication must be provided with list and dosage to leaders on or before camp please see information sheet.
