11am – Scout Place (cnr Alfred, Young & Phillip Sts) opposite Circular Quay
* Games and activities while everyone arrives in preparation for moving to the Opera House.
12pm – Opera House Forecourt
* Group Photo, announcements, Banners, waving.
1pm – Botanical Gardens // Domain
* Big Picnic
2-3pm – Depart

A Program // Guide // Activity booklet will be circulated prior to the event.

Who can come?
families, siblings, everyone is invited, but the main opera house activities are only for Fully Uniformed Joey Scouts and Leaders.
An E1 Form Sydney 25yr – E1 Form should be submitted for EVERYONE that attends. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children. Leaders are only there to facilitate the fun.

What to wear:
* Full Uniform, proper walking shoes, Scarf and Hat.

What to bring;
* Drink Bottle, Morning Tea, Lunch, Sunscreen.
* Families to bring picnic blanket to sit on for lunch.

This is always a great family fun day.

Please note that Winston Hills have Billy Carts. However if you have one or wish to make one you MUST adhere to the following:

Rules for Billy Carts are:

no metal frames
no pump up / spoke wheels
wheels must be no bigger than 250mm
no steering wheels (use rope or feet only)
no brakes
seats must have three sides (two sides and a back on the seat)

PLEASE…. Your groups must stay within the specks… NO other BILLY CARTS
NOT MADE TO THESE SPECIFIC SPECS…WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE.

Aussie Bush Mob Holiday Packing List
The Joey – Aussie Bush Camp – all Joeys must have a parent or responsible adult in attendance for the camp.
Cost is $50 for Joeys, Parents, and Leaders This includes all meals. Please pay by cash

Parents will be required to assist with meal preparation, cleaning up, and at activities.

All participants need to fill in an activity form. Parents will also need to fill in a PED form (prohibited employment declaration)

Please see attached packing list. Label everything! Joeys and Leaders need to wear uniform to and from camp.

Arrive 9:45 am for set up and morning tea. Opening Parade 11am. If you plan to arrive later please advise your Joey Leader. If you need to leave before the end of the camp you must advise the Joey Leader.

Everyone must wear closed in shoes while on camp. No crocs, sandles or thongs. No singlet tops.

Joeys and Parents will be sleeping in Bunk Bed accommodation. Separate boy / girl rooms. Camping is also an option if you wish to bring your own tent.
Parents are responsible for showering and toiletting their own Joey.
All medication must be handed to your Leader on arrival in a sealed bag with the Joey’s name on it. Medication will be stored in a safe location, and distributed to a parent to administer to the Joey when required.

Camp activities will include craft, games, campfire, river walk, and lots of FUN and FOOD! Saturday night dinner will have an Aussie Bush theme. Parents, Leaders and Joeys are invited to dress up.

E1 Newington Armory – 9 Aug 15 v2-1
Cubs are to be dropped off and collected from the Newington Armory Entry Point – Gate near segways

Cubs will participate in a tour of Newington Armory including train ride and a visit to the wild life sanctuary (time permitting)

Cubs should bring a Water Bottle, small healthy snack and a broad brimmed hat

Cubs should also wear closed toed shoes and sunscreen.

Parents are most welcome to join in to discover the history around newington armory.

Cub families are welcome to play in the park after the 12.30 pm pickup, however, parent supervision will be required after 12.30 pm
