E1 2015 Comp Camp
Camp fee is $5. Food and consumables cost will be advised by your Patrol Leader.
This is a Patrol Camp, with each Patrol setting up its own campsite and cooking its own meals. Cooking will be on wood fires. Please cater for one Leader at each meal : Saturday -Dinner, Sunday – Breakfast, Lunch
Bring a packed lunch for Saturday, the rest of meals provided at camp.

How to get to Camp Ku Ring Gai From Windsor
Starting from Windsor road just before the bridge at Windsor.
Directions From Windsor Road.
On Windsor Road go straight ahead through the lights at MacQuarie Street. DO NOT TURN LEFT
Cross the bridge, the road becomes Wilberforce Road.
Follow Wilberforce Road to Wilberforce. Turn right at Sackville Road. NOTE THE STREET SIGN MAY STILL CALL IT KING ROAD. It’s the same road!!
Follow Sackville (King) Road to West Portland Road, turn left towards Lower Portland and Kurrajong. Note this turn is approximately 400 meters before the ferry. If you reach the ferry, you have gone too far.
Follow West Portland Road past Bull Ridge Road, over the one lane bridge and through the hair pin bend.
After 5.6 kms on West Portland Road turn right into Laws Farm Road. Note the sign to Camp Ku Ring Gai.
After 3.8 kms on Laws Farm Road turn right into Ski Lodge Road. Note the sign to Camp Ku Ring Gai.
The gate to Camp Ku Ring Gai is 0.9 kms along from the corner of Laws Farm Road and Ski Lodge Road. Keeping to the right, Ski Lodge Road turns into Holms Drive. The camp is in Holmes Drive.

This link to the site calls the road Ski Lodge road but it should be called Holmes Drive from where Ski Lodge road meets Holmes drive.
Practice Comp Camp August 2015
A practice Comp Camp will be held on the grounds of 1st Wentworthville Scout Hall on the Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday until early afternoon.
This is a Patrol Camp with each Patrol setting up its own campsite and cooking their own meals.
Costs are food-related only: the Scouts will be catering for themselves as a patrol.
An adult Scout Leader should be able to be in attendance from APPROXIMATELY 5 pm on the Friday afternoon to allow scouts to start setting up.
The grounds are also able to be externally lit but Scouts should bring torches for use after sunset.
Scouts should prepare for, and pack for a 2-night camp, allowing for the possibility of rain and/or cold weather.
SCOUTS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT AT THE GROUNDS WITHOUT A SUPERVISING PARENT / GUARDIAN:
(I) DROPPING THEM OFF
(II) PROVIDING A PERMISSION NOTE
(III) PHYSICALLY CONFIRMING WITH A SUPERVISING ADULT SCOUT LEADER THAT THE PARTICIPANTS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED AS SCOUTS BEING THERE FOR THE PURPOSES OF PARTICIPATING IN THE PRACTICE COMP CAMP
(IV) ENSURING THAT THERE ARE AT LEAST TWO ADULTS PRESENT RENDERING APPROPRIATE SUPERVISION
