E1Rock Climbing

Full Cub Uniform is to be worn
Cubs should bring a water bottle

As we have over 30 Cubs we will need several Parents or older siblings to stay to help Belay.

Belayers: The minimum age requirement for a belayer (someone who holds the rope), is 12 years old. All belayers will be professionally instructed on how to do the safety rope work on the day, no experience required. A suggested belayer to climber ratio is 1:2 or 1:3…the more the better.

Some style of a running shoe or sneaker (must cover your toes) is to be worn.
Registration forms at http://bit.ly/2nS7kTx are to be completed and signed by Cub parents. It is a requirement of The Edge that any person participating (climbing or belaying) must sign a registration form.
